Estimation; Cost vs. Quality Management in Projects.

Improving, Contributions: Deming and Juran.
Unit VIII: Strategic Quality Management - Total Quality Management (TQM), Implementation of TQM,
Reliability Health and Safety: Defining Reliability, Product Life Characteristic Curve, Reliability Function,
Reliability Engineering. Classification of Hazards, Codes of Practice, Company Safety Statement.
Unit IX: Quality Techniques - Indian Quality Standards, Japanese vs. American Techniques, KAIZEN,
Six Sigma: Design, Measure, Analysis, Improve and Control Phases; TOYOTA WAY.
Unit X: Standards and Certifications - ISO 9000, ISO 14000, BS 7799 ISMS, TS; Agency Inspection
